Virginia Quarterly Review names new editor a year after masthead upheaval

Ralph Eubanks has been named the new editor of Virginia Quarterly Review, a year after the acclaimed Charlottesville literary magazine lost its last boss amid turmoil over a staffer's suicide. Eubanks, 55, a scholar known for his work on race relations, has most recently served as the director of publishing for the Library of Congress.
